Special Offer

Overview

The Special Offers tab allows hotel administrators and travel agents to configure promotional pricing and discounts for specific room types and booking conditions. These offers can be tailored by date, room type, number of guests, and other criteria.

There are 4 rules:

  • Room cost

  • Extra bed cost

  • Early booking

  • Stay and pay

🔹 Interface Description

Filters & Controls

  • Contract / Room Code / Period: Dropdown filters to narrow the offers by contract, room code, or specific period.

  • Booking Date / Departure Date: Selectable fields to define the booking window for viewing or applying offers.

  • Display / Clear: Toggle or reset the current filter selection.

  • Show All / Unlock Service / Create:

    • Show All: Displays all entries regardless of filter.

    • Unlock Service: Enables editing locked fields.

    • Create: Add a new special offer.

🔹 Special Offers Table Columns

Column Name

Approved

Lock/unlock icon showing approval status.

Rule Type

Type of special offer (e.g., Early Booking, Extra Bed, RoomCort, etc.).

Arrival Start / End

Period in which the guest must arrive for the offer to apply.

Booking Start / End

Date range during which the booking must be made.

Days B. Arr

Days before arrival that the booking must occur.

Room

Specific room codes the offer applies to.

Price 1st / 2nd / 3rd / 4th

Promotional pricing per interval.

Min Days

Minimum number of nights to qualify for the offer.

Send List Date

Date by which the offer must be sent or listed.

Deposit Date

Deadline for deposit payments to lock in the offer.

D.Percent

Discount percentage.

SLDBA

Send list days no before arrival.

PD

Per day check box (if checked, the price will be applies per day, not per interval)

ATD

Add to default rule (for Early booking only) - if "on", the Special Offer Early Booking rule will not overwrite the contract Early Booking rule, but add to it. It will add in the following manner:

  • contract Early Booking rule will apply first

  • and the Special Offer Early Booking rule will be applied on that result

  • Please note! - if the cost of a particular day would be 0 (for various reasons, may be the last 2 days of a Stay 7 pay 5 days rule), then the adding of a discount (Early booking or other) will not result in a negative amount cost but still zero.

Normal price check box (if checked, it behaves as a price, not as a discount)

PP

Per pax check box (if checked it applies to each passenger)

Percent check box (if checked it turns the value into a percent)

From Age / To Age

Age range for which the offer applies (e.g., children).

Stay days number.

Pay (duration of the pay, works with the Stay filter)

EB

Combine with Early booking - dictates if an EB rule will combine with an S&P rule. If not, the EB rule wins, and S&P is not taken into account.

S&P

Combine with Stay and pay - dictates if an S&P rule will combine with an EB rule. If not, the S&P rule wins, and EB is not taken into account.

IG.S&P

Ignore S&P: EBD will be applied on the booking even if S&P is better.

Author

Username of the person who created or modified the offer.

🔹 Notes & Best Practices

  • Always review the Approved status before assuming the offer is live.

  • Ensure Booking and Arrival windows do not overlap incorrectly.

  • Use Unlock Service cautiously to avoid overwriting valid promo settings.

  • Set Deposit Date and Send List Date early to ensure promo visibility and compliance.
