Extras categories are mandatory in the extras definition process. So in order to have optional services/products that a customer can book: like transfer, catering, pension, rental car, etc, first, an extra category needs to be created.

The Extras Category section provides administrators with a structured interface to manage optional services or items that can be added to bookings or reservations. These extras can range from luggage options to parking or VIP services, each with custom visibility and behavior settings.

Field Name

Description

Name

The name of the extra category. Displayed throughout the system.

Code

Unique system code used for identification

Category

Defines the classification/group the extra belongs to.

Display in Remember Extras

Controls whether this extra appears in the “Remember Extras” section for future suggestions.

Use for Extras Statistics

Determines if data on this extra is collected for statistical reporting.

Behavior on Web

Indicates how and when the extra is shown in the online booking interface.

✏️ Editing or Deleting an Extra

  • Edit: Click the name of the extras. Anew page will open to edit the Rxtras Category

  • Delete: Click the trash icon. A confirmation pop-up ensures changes are intentional.
