Hotel Room
Overview
The Hotel Room tab allows you to assign specific rooms to a booking from the pool of available rooms at the selected hotel. This provides control over the exact room, floor, and room number assigned to the guest.
Purpose
To manually allocate a specific hotel room to a customer based on availability.
To ensure personalized room preferences (e.g., floor level, room number) are respected.
To provide detailed booking tickets that include room assignment information.
Preconditions
A hotel must already be selected for the booking.
Room availability must be set up for the hotel in the system.
Instructions
Open the Hotel Room Tab:
Navigate to the desired booking.
Click on the Hotel Room tab.
View Available Rooms:
A list or grid of available rooms will be displayed.
Green-marked rooms indicate availability.
Select a Room:
Choose a room by clicking on one of the green-marked rooms.
Save the Selection:
After selecting the room, click Save to confirm your choice.
This assigns the selected room to the booking.
Print the Ticket with Room Details:
Return to the Booking tab.
Click Print Ticket.
The assigned room number will be included on the printed ticket, allowing the customer and hotel staff to see the exact room assignment.
