Transport Seating
Overview
The Transport Seating tab is used to manually or automatically assign airplane seats to passengers listed in a booking. It handles both outbound and return flights, ensuring that seat assignments appear clearly on the booking and printed ticket.
Purpose
To reserve specific airplane seats for each passenger in a booking.
To give agents the ability to match customer seating preferences.
To display reserved seat numbers on printed travel documents.
Preconditions
A booking must be created and saved.
Passengers must already be added to the booking.
The transport (flight) must be set up with available seat data.

Instructions
🔹 Accessing the Tab
After the booking is saved and includes at least one guest and a transport segment (flight), the Transport Seating tab will become available.
Click on the Transport Seating tab within the booking.
🔹 Outgoing Flight Seat Assignment
The first tab represents the outbound flight.
Assign seats by clicking on available seats (typically marked as free or in green).
Each seat is selected individually per passenger.
After selecting all seats, click “Save passenger assignment for outbound.”
🔹 Homebound Flight Seat Assignment
The second tab is for the return flight.
Seats can be:
Manually selected just like in the outbound flight tab.
Or you can auto-select the same seats as the outbound flight for all passengers (if available), saving time and ensuring symmetry.
Once done, click “Save passenger assignment for homebound.”
🔹 Final Steps
Click Save again to confirm all seat assignments.
Return to the Booking tab.
A new column for seating will appear in the booking details, showing the assigned seats.
Click Print Ticket.
Open the printed ticket – it now includes a new Flight Reservation section, listing the selected seats for both outbound and return flights.
