Customer info / Details on customer card

Overview

This feature enables authorised users to view and edit detailed customer information directly from the booking screen. When activated, the system shows a “Details” field on the customer card during booking which allows input of extra customer data (for example phone number, personal details) and stores it for future bookings.

Purpose

• Provide quick access to customer details while creating a booking, without switching to the Customer Center.

• Allow editing and storing of additional details for a customer that will automatically appear on all subsequent bookings linked to that customer.

• Improve efficiency and accuracy of customer data for operational use (e.g., phone number, contact info).

Field Explanation

UI Element	Description
Show details of customer (checkbox in System Setup)	Toggle this feature on or off. If enabled, the “Details” field appears on the customer card during booking.
Brand selection	Choose the brand under which the booking is being made; shows the correct customer card fields for that brand.
Phone number field	Allows entry of the customer’s phone number on the customer card.
Edit button (on customer card)	Opens the editable fields to add or update details.
Details field	Free-text or structured area where additional customer details are entered. These details are saved to the customer record and reused.
Save button (on booking screen)	Saves the updated details to the customer record and retains them for future bookings.

How It Works

1. Go to System Setup → Settings and enable the checkbox Show details of customer.

   
2. Click Save to apply the change.

3. Navigate to Booking → New Booking, and select the brand.

4. Enter the customer’s phone number or identify the customer.

5. If no details exist yet, click the Edit button on the customer card to open the details field.

   
6. Add or update the pertinent details for the customer.

7. Click Save on the booking screen. The details are now linked to the customer record.

   
8. On each future booking for this customer, the details will display automatically on the card.
