Booking Date Manager

Overview

The Booking Date Manager page provides an overview of all bookings within a selected time frame. It allows users to filter, view, and adjust booking dates for specific hotels and brands. The tool is particularly useful for managing booking periods and aligning them with the corresponding departure dates.

Purpose

This page is designed to help travel operators easily monitor and modify booking-related information. It ensures that booking and departure dates are correctly aligned and allows the user to filter results based on various parameters, such as brand, date range, and hotel. FAQ

  • Do I need to set both Booking start and Booking end? Yes. The page tip states you set both dates to ensure accurate results before selecting Display.

  • What happens when I change the selected brand? The page shows data for the selected brand. The Brands field description states all displayed data corresponds to the chosen brand.

  • Are Departure start and Departure end required? No. They are optional filters used to limit results by departure date.

  • Can I change the original Booking Date? This page documents editing Alt. Booking Date. It does not state that the original Booking Date field is editable.

  • When are changes saved? Changes are stored when you select Save after updating the alternative booking dates.

  • How do I open the details for a specific booking? Select the booking number in the Booking No column. The documentation states each booking number is clickable.

  • What does “+ More filters / Clear” mean, and what does the number show? It provides access to additional filters or clears active filters. The number shows how many filters are currently active.

  • Why do I only see some bookings (and not all of them)? The list only includes bookings that match your selected filters, especially the booking date range (bookings made on or after Booking start and on or before Booking end).
