Discount Extra Beds
Overview
The Extra Bed Discounts feature lets administrators define discounts for passengers using extra beds.
You can target both children and adults using age rules. You can also define different discounts per extra bed (up to four).
Purpose
Use this to:
Discount passengers who occupy extra beds.
Automate price reductions based on rules.
Vary discounts by age, stay dates, booking dates, room type, transport, and period.
Keep pricing consistent across seasons and configurations.
This reduces manual corrections and keeps booking totals consistent.
Extra-bed discounts are only applied when a passenger is actually assigned to an extra bed in the room allocation.

FAQ
Why is my extra bed discount not applied?
Check these items:
The passenger is assigned to an extra bed in the room.
The passenger’s age matches the rule.
Stay dates match Start Date / End Date.
Booking date matches Booking Start / End Date (if set).
Room Type, Transport, and Period match the booking.
What’s the difference between % and a fixed value?
Use % to discount by a percentage (example:
10= 10%).Leave % unchecked to discount by a fixed amount (currency).
What does PD (Per Day) do?
PD applies the discount per day of the stay. Without PD, the discount is applied per interval.
How do I discount the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th extra bed?
Fill in the corresponding discount columns. Leave unused columns empty if you only support fewer beds.
What are FHC, H (Hidden), and HP?
FHC: Calculates discount from profit. It is used with Price Margin Service.
H (Hidden): Spreads the discount across passengers in the room.
HP: Calculates discount as a percentage of the hotel price.
How do I restore a discount I deleted?
Open Removed Discounts and restore the rule from there.
How is this different from Extra Bed Costs?
Discount Extra Beds changes the customer price (discount).
Extra Beds Costs changes the hotel cost side (what you pay the supplier).
