Questionnaires - Setup questions

Overview

Within each Questionnaire, users can define the individual questions that will be presented to customers. Each question can have different answer types, configurations, and display options. These settings influence how responses are collected, displayed, and evaluated in the dashboard.

Purpose

  • To define how feedback is collected within a questionnaire.

  • To customize question formats and determine how results are analyzed.

  • To structure questionnaire results for better data visualization and evaluation.

Instructions – Create a New Question

To configure questions for a questionnaire:

  1. Open the questionnaire where questions will be added.

  2. Go to the Questions tab.

  3. Click Create New Question.

  4. Fill in the required details as described in the table below.

  5. Click Save.

  6. To add another question, click Insert and repeat the process.

Fields and Descriptions

Field / Option

Description

Question

The text of the question that will be shown to customers.

Answer Type

Defines the type of answer customers can provide: • Choice Answer – Allows users to define multiple predefined answers. • Yes/No Answer – Displays simple “Yes” or “No” options. • Free Text Answer – Allows customers to enter a custom response.

Choice Answer Options

When Choice Answer is selected, users can add or remove answer options. Each option is assigned a value based on its order. • The first option has the highest point value. • Not Used options have no point value and represent “I don’t care.”

Allow Multiple Answers

If enabled, customers can select more than one option for the question.

Rank

Defines the display order of the question within the questionnaire (WB view).

Is Most Representative Question

Marks the question as one of the most important. This increases its weight when calculating questionnaire results. Typically used for the final or summary question.

Show on Dashboard

Defines how the question’s results will be visualized on the dashboard — either as a Pie Chart or a Bar Chart.

Assigned

Specifies which type of user or department has access to view the questionnaire results.

Mandatory

If enabled, customers must answer the question before moving to the next one. If not selected, the question is optional.

Show “Not Used” Option

Adds a “Not Used” answer to the question, which is ignored in statistical calculations.

Is Inactive

If checked, hides the question from the live questionnaire.

Dashboard Group

Assigns the question to a specific Dashboard Group, allowing related questions to be grouped under the same analysis area. Groups are predefined in Questionnaire Groups.
